As mentioned last post, instant hot cereal from simple to exciting is a terrifically flavorful, energy-sustaining pre-ride/run breakfast. The cereal, fruit, dried fruit, and chocolate chips (if you use them) provide quick-to-burn energy, while the yogurt (especially, high-protein Greek yogurt, as shown here) and almond (or any nut) butter provide long-burning sustained energy. I can have this breakfast and easily stay fully powered for a good 20-40 mile rip on the bike and not coming home starving.
